One Good Thing

One thing I’ve learned is that’s it’s really easy to focus on all the things that are wrong in your life.  And the more you focus on the things that are wrong, the worse life seems.

But, there is always at least one good thing, one positive thing to be thankful for, every single day.  And if you take a moment at the end of each day to reflect and think about that one good thing, life seems more full.  Maybe that one good thing is just what you need to sleep easy, to have sweet dreams, or to wake up the next day with a smile.

Some days my one good thing is something amazing, some days it’s something trivial.  What’s important is taking the time to write them down now matter how small.  Because when I stop and pay attention to the good things, I remember to be thankful for the abundance in my life.  Even if I’ve had a shitty day.

So this week, in this season of thanks, I’m celebrating some of my good things.

What’s been your one good thing today?

I’m joining Michelle in Gratitude Week, won’t you?

I love this–a great reminder to me today, a day when I am feeling sorry for myself for silly reasons. So onegood thing today is knowing I have time to write. Love the photo by the way, can’t help but smile when looking at happy kids! x

What we focus on expands so focusing on gratitude will bring more of the same. I think it’s great you are spending time each day counting your blessings! I love the new look of your blog!

I love the motion captured…and I agree with the focus on one thing to be grateful for. It does make a difference.
