Hydrangea’s Quirky Color

And how about hydrangeas?  How quirky (and brilliant) are they to be able to change color based on the soil in which they’re planted?

What color is your favorite?

I am now going to see if I can fit the word “quirky” into every post this week…

I love the purple too. This yard was amazing though. Blue, pink, and purple ones all within a couple feet of each other.

Did you know that if you put copper coins round the base it can turn the flowers blue?

I hadn’t heard about coins. Have you done that?

I love hydrangeas – ANY COLOR. I carried them down the isle in my wedding 10 years ago. They were a lovely shade of light green – perfect for the day before St. Patrick’s Day!
